This week, I am reading:
{This is a read-aloud to my daughters.}
What are the REST of you reading?
I love your “ring the bell” in the classroom! Bet they love that. Heart and Soul is visually stunning, yes? Will be curious to here what you think about “Shades of Gray”…it’s getting lots of buzz and is on my TBR.
I really like Nelson’s paintings. Have you seen his WE ARE THE SHIP or the illustrations he did for JOE LOUIS–A NATION’S HOPE? (Check my blog: https://mretome.wordpress.com/2012/02/08/the-mighty-miss-malone-lovin-historical-fiction/)
I finished BETWEEN SHADES OF GRAY. It was great. Reminiscent of Holocaust stories. It came to a quick conclusions. But the pains and struggle humans can endure and survive constantly amaze me.
Heart and Soul is stunning visually. Between Shades of Gray is on many people’s lists (including my TBR). Will be curious to hear what you think!
