  1. I remember reading Eve Bunting with sixth-graders. The pictures were so professional and the messages were deeper than students first realized. So much can be taught through picture books.

  2. YES! Insurgent! Loved it! (In fact, it’s the last book I blogged about…way back at the end of April!) Jumping back on the blog bandwagon with this teacher’s write thing. 🙂

    • Did you get an ARC of INSURGENT? I’m 2/3 through–trying to make time to read in the middle of end-of-year grading. I have to say I found myself struggling with all the names. So much to keep track of.
