{Whatever Wednesday}

Whatever Wednesday — a chance to post something I’ve seen that I’m diggin’. Though often a cool quote or poster, it might simply be a picture.

Enjoy!… and consider posting your own Whatever.

  1. I was thinking more about the poetry unit. I had students write poetry throughout the year, not just a single unit. I had them write poems in Social Studies and Math. They had to use some key vocabulary in their writing. I saw poetry as a means to an end…not the end itself.

  2. I loved the poetry unit. I had students write poems from different viewpoints. They could be a flower giving beauty to the world, then be willing to die so new seeds will carry on the beauty. Students read their poems with soft music in the background and the overhead lights off…very moving.

  3. Wonderful. Love the Farmer and it’s impact on my understanding. Liked the windmill and the little boy’s thoughts/feelings. Thanks for sharing. W
